It's All About The Biz... The Food Biz That Is
Louisiana Eats! is all about the biz, the Food business that is. On this week’s show we talk with hospitality entrepreneurs about how they got their businesses off the ground.
We begin with a panel discussion held at Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of business. Durng the panel we hear from Neal Bodenheimer of Cure, James Beard Award Winner Zach Engel of Galit, Vance Vaucresson of Vaucresson Sausage, and Becky Wasden of 2 Girls 1 Shuck. They delve into how they started their businesses as well as what it takes to keep them afloat.
Next we are joined in our studio by Barrie Schwartz of My House Social and Becky Wasden of 2 Girls 1 Shuck, who returns to give us a bit more insight into her business and how she and Barrie collaborate.
Finally we hear a remarkable story from Congreso Cubano owner Orlando Vega of how it all started with 20 sandwiches on a street corner outside of the Marigny Opera House.
